Spread across two campuses in Sukhumvit, Bangkok Prep is a CIS-accredited British Curriculum International School with over 1,200 students aged 3 – 18.
Their program is based on the National Curriculum of England and offers a rigorous I/GCSE program to 10 and 11-year-old students as a precursor to the Cambridge-approved A-levels available to study in Year 12 and 13. ISB first opened as the International Children’s Center on the grounds of the US Embassy in 1951. It was Thailand’s first international school, and it serviced US Embassy families and other expats in Bangkok at the time.
ISB offers the Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (DP) alongside their ISB Curriculum.
This school has a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, an Elementary, Middle and High School, as well as an International Baccalaureate Program.

NIST was Thailand’s very first full International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. By 1999, the school offered all three IB programs. Today, it is one of the leading IB schools in the world. NIST was also Thailand’s first school to receive triple accreditation; they were approved by CIS, NEASC, and ONESQA.

Ruamrudee International (RIS) – which is Thai for “Union of Hearts” – is a Catholic school and it was established in 1957. It was one of Asia’s first schools that were accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Thai Ministry of Education.

St Andrews follows a version of England’s National Curriculum that’s been tailored to their international community. It prepares their students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP).
There’s a maximum of 900 primary school and 1,000 high school students who come from more than 50 countries. The age range is between 2 – 18, and the average class size is 15 – 20. 8 languages are taught at St Andrews, 4 of which are European ones and the others are Asian.
